I grew up on a small Missouri farm with my brother. Our father would always say, "Boys you don't want to be a farmer". We heeded his advice, and I started my career in the Home Office of a life insurance company. IN 1979, I started my State Farm Insurance Agency. So, I guess you could say that I couldn't stay away from 'The Farm'.
